ALONE I STAND
WILD AS A WILD FLOWER
GROPING FOR THE HANDS
THAT I CLAIMED TO BE MINE

MY EYES NEVER STOP
SEARCHING FOR THE FOOT STEPS
WE MADE ON THE SAND
THAT THE WIND HAS EATEN AWAY

THE AIR IS FILLED
WITH THE SWEET SMELL
OF BLOOMING BUDS
FROM THE PLANTS U BROUGHT ME

AS A WAVE PLAYS AT THE SHORE
I STARE ;MIND TURBULANT AS THE SEA
A CHILD RUNS BEHIND A KITE
AND I WISH IT WERE ME

AS TWO FLYING BIRDS
THAT NEVER LEAVE THEIR TRAIL
SO DID WE FLY
THE MEMORY REMAINS AND NOT THE TRAILS!!

Hi Padma,
I have read this over and over just to get inside more and more.

It brings out your silent thoughts in loneliness.

The comparisons you have bought out with birds, buds, foot steps on sand, wild flower and the child are very good.

Now it is excellent...especially the fourth...it clearly shows now that when your mind is turbulant...u wish u were carefree like that child after the kite.

Keep writing Padma....
